places you may wish to visit while here!

• Zion National Park Is the most well known National Park in Utah. If you love to hike there is no place like it. Zion has easy hikes for the whole family and extremely strenuous treks for experienced hikers. There are dry hiking trails, and for the super hot days you can hike up rivers - one favorite is called the Narrows. Before you go, make sure you are properly prepared and check with the visitor's center for trail weather reports. We highly recommend a day trip to Zion National Park, whether you go to hike or go for the incredible scenery, you will have the experience of a lifetime. Only 40 miles west of our luxury Great Escape, you shouldn't pass it up!
• Grand Canyon North Rim is only 80 miles South of Kanab. An experience you'll never forget. Surrounded by a forest filled with pine, spruce, and fir trees, the drive to the NORTH RIM is breathtaking, however once there you'll feel the relaxing beauty of the canyon view. Plenty of trails to hike, or you can even go on a mule ride to the bottom. Don't forget your camera!
• Lake Powell [Glen Canyon] is the water sports fanatics dream. Only 60 miles east of our GREAT ESCAPE is a relaxing water filled get away. They offer many types of water toy rentals or you can bring your own. So have fun in the sun, then when you're done return to the base of your vacation Our Luxury Great Escape your Home away from Home!
• Bryce Canyon is only 70 miles North of Kanab. A natural wonder, with magnificent shapes and colors your eyes won't believe what you're seeing. Visitors stress the fact that photos do not do justice for this natural phenomenon.
• Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is well known throughout the United States. If you are an animal lover then this is the place for you. Best Friends is the nations largest no kill animal sanctuary and is located just 5 miles North of Kanab. They are open to visitors all year, and have free 90 min. tours daily.
• Coral Cliffs Golf Course is a beautiful course to visit. Enjoy a relaxing game of golf on Kanab's stunning 9 hole [soon to be 18 hole] golf course. Gorgeous red cliffs throughout the coarse makes golfing Coral Cliffs a unique experience.
• Coral Pink Sand Dunes is the place you'll want to visit if you like to play in the sand and go on your 4-wheelers. The Coral Pink Sand Dunes Park was established in 1963. It has hundreds of miles of trails and many developed 4-wheel roads on BLM land adjacent to the park. Off road vehicles are allowed on some of the dunes, however riders should contact Park Personnel for info. On the laws and rules to ensure a safe and fun time! BIG OR SMALL CORAL PINK SAND DUNES WILL BE GREAT FUN FOR ALL!! With spectacular views, you just can't lose!
• Western Legends occurs every August for 5 days of fun filled events. Some of the Western Legend events you may enjoy entail: meeting some of the old western movie actors, that will autograph pictures. Breakfast with the stars. Cowboy poets, Western music concerts, Workshops, Carriage rides, and a street full of vendors with souvenirs, great food, art, and much, much more! Plenty of fun for the children you won't want to miss. There is way too much to mention lets just say that Western Legends week in Kanab is a can't miss, and of coarse our Great Escape is a short walking distance from all the fun!
